KRHC Elections: Vice-President

from Section II: Officers of the KRHC Constitution

Vice President: The Vice President is specifically responsible for the following duties:
    • Assist the President in her duties.
    • Conduct at least one general meeting each semester. In the absence of the President, she will preside over the meetings.
    • Serve as a Kinsolving Senator at the Senate meetings for URHA.
    • Advise and mentor committee** of her choice where she will be required to attend committee meetings (two absence allowance).
    • Serve as Chair of the Halloween Carnival in the fall semester and as Appeals Director* (see Section V) in the spring semester.
    • Co-Chair the “End of the Year” Banquet in the spring semester.

Universal Duties: Each officer must put on at least one program every semester that falls under one of the following categories: Social, Diversity, Educational, and/or Community Service; she must also plan and prepare her respective semester programs. In addition, attendance at each Executive and General Meeting is mandatory. For absence policy, see [KRHC Constitution Section III]

Appeals: The purpose of Appeals is to reinstate Wing Representatives who have been dismissed for their position in the past semester. The Wing Representative in question will present her case before the Executive Board after which they may ask questions, make comments, etc. to come to a consensus on whether or not she will be permitted to be reinstated. If or when reinstated, the Wing Representative’s absence record goes from two to zero; she will not be allowed any absences from the General meetings for the remainder of the semester. Appeals will take place during the first two weeks of February. Attendance for Appeals is mandatory for all officers and is conducted by the Vice President who will serve as Appeals Director.

Committees: There are only two committees that must be attended by Wing Representatives:
    • The Diversity & Educational committee
    • The Social committee
